I would like to increase the size of the category boxes on category pages as per the image on this link.

The theme does not have any such an option for it, sorry! If you want to make this customization, notice that you should use the inspector browser, use it to check the elements which create these buttons and then, create your own custom CSS code to achieve as you wish.
