Category >> Sub Cat >> Post Body Background Image Changes

Hi – I am trying to get each of my categories and all of the sub cats and posts within that category, to have their own background related image. I have managed to change the category and sub category pages as they have ID selectors – however I cannot see a way I can identify the post / news stories within that section/cat/subcat.

For instance I have a category called Hobbit, I have managed to change the background of that page, and the sub cat backgrounds to a hobbit related image. The only way I can see to change it for the stories is by changing the css for every story added, and obviously that’s just not workable.

Is there an easier way to do this?! http://scifiandfantasynetwork.com/

Which I think lets me do what I want…
