3. I believe you are referring to the effect when hovering the grid in the homepage

That is possible in category page grids as well, in the theme panel category settings. You just have to select the “Lightsky” effect – http://prntscr.com/npoi1l
– From what I can see that form is added by the ESSB plugin, maybe you could check the plugin documentation to see if it has the options you need.
