Change color of Bottom Box on Thumbnail

For the Bottom Box (e.g. Grid Style 4 on Big Grid Full 10), I see that it is an an opacity adjustment to the Theme Panel –> Theme Colors –> Theme Accent Color.

Is it possible to customize the Bottom Box color without changing the Theme Accent Color?

Additionally, the Bottom Box does not fit the full size of the center image in Big Grid Full 10 when it is in a row set to “Stretch row and content (no paddings)”.

Is there a css adjustment to make the bottom box width = the width of the thumbnail?
