change colour of individual category tag globally

Hi,

Please can you tell me how to change the colour of individual category tags.
I can see the css:
.td-post-category {
background-color:

but this sets the global colour. I want the colours of each category set in Theme Panel> Categories> Per category settings> CATEGORY TAG COLOR ON POST PAGE to continue throughout the site.

Hi,

That color will be displayed only on category and post pages. On the homepage the category tags will have a default color. You could change them in general as you mention, or maybe by block and module type. Use the browser inspector to identify the classes and experiment with custom code

Block can have custom classes set, you can use that as well to affect the tags more specifically.

Hi Simion,

Thank you for your reply. Can I just ask if I were to change them by module type will that allow me to show the category tags in different colours within that module or will it just allow me to change the colour of all tags in that particular module to one colour?

Hi,

That would allow to change the category tags for by module, it will not matter what actual category is displayed. Maybe there will be more options for the category tags in future updates, but I cannot say for sure.
