I was hoping to be able to change the colour of the menu items like the home and search button with no such luck.
The text itself has been changed using custom css but the icons and the search button are now the only thing in between me and perfection of my main menu.
Any way to fix it?

If it helps you can switch the menu icons color from black to white from theme panel http://screencast.com/t/MwyRo1ZFU
Unfortunately you can only chose from these two colors, you can’t change this icons color only if you replace them and you can do that like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-icons-in-main-menu/#post-15336

I wanted them white so that’s ideal but OMG I must be blind since I missed that simple setting in the first place. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
