Hi – don’t know if this is possible or not, but this is what I’d like to happen – if possible:
On the first visit, the visitor sees a static page; then, on subsequent visits, they are shown the dynamic content.
Or on the first visit, a section in the dynamic content is visible, but then hidden on subsequent visits.
Is something like that possible? (Sorry – my knowledge of WP is *very* limited).

Sorry, unfortunately or theme do not have this option, but what you want to achieve is similar to some popup info, this can be achieve using some plugins.
