Change text in footer

Hi,

If you enter http://eyestocker.com, you’ll see in the footer the instagram widget with its title “follow US on instagram”.

I would like to change that into “follow ME on instagram”. I’ve found a way of doing this by entering appearance->editor->footer.php. However, after I make the change here and update the theme in the near future, I will have to make this change again.

I can see that in theme panel, there is a custom code area. Can I use that to make a rule for that text in the footer? Should I use the HTML code area?

Hello,
You do not have to edit the theme code at all as there is an entry in the translations section of the theme panel where you can “translate” your text to whatever you want: http://screencast.com/t/0K455iMdb8jN
