Changes to php files for AWS Lightsail Hosting

Hi,

I’m new here and not sure if this is the correct place to ask a question or whether I need to call support – who are currently closed anyway.

I’ve set up Newspaper 9 on the basic AWS Lightsail package so I can familiarise myself with the theme and get the design I want.

On checking the Newspaper 9 System Status page there are two yellow flags –

1). max_input_vars. This is currently set to 1,000 thought the text next to it says it should be a minimum of 2,000.
2). wp_memory limit. This is set to 64Mb but the recommended minimum is 128.

I’m not a network or OS expert and was wondering if someone could tell me how to do this or if there is a manual somewhere relevant to AWS Lightsail.

Thanks

Best

Gary

Hi,

I did find some somewhat helpful topics – https://metablogue.com/install-setup-wordpress-aws-lightsail/
https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?messageID=783185
https://forums.aws.amazon.com/message.jspa?messageID=764529
https://community.bitnami.com/t/cant-edit-php-ini-to-modify-the-execution-time-bitnami-aws/25883
WP-config seems to be located here – http://prntscr.com/n3juo3
The php.ini here – http://prntscr.com/n3jvie

But it would be best to try and contact them and ask them for more specific instructions, or maybe they can even do it for you. Having properly set memory and parameters is imperative, there could be various problems if they are not. They should be able to help with this.

Thanks
