Is there a way I can change the “author” directory name? something like below:
http://www.mywebsite.com/author/MrX
to
http://www.mywebsite.com/profile/MrX

You could change the default author base with a plugin for example

Thank you Simion. Unfortunately, it creates duplicates since I already have the */profile/MrX and it doesn’t redirect to the page I created.
