Hi,
at the moment I use the plugin “Accelerated Mobile Pages” for AMP. Is there something that I must note when I want to change to “tagDiv AMP Plugin”?
Is the url also https://www.website.com/post/amp/ to avoid duplicate content?
What is the easiest way to change the AMP plugin?
Thank you and best regards
Simon
Hello AWAY FROM LIFE,
You should simply install our AMP plugin without any other untested plugins with this functionality, clear all the caches and check the results. This is the Newsmag changelog
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/AeHuWBu4YiHI
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello Catlin,
The thing is that I already use another plugin for AMP before you provided your own plugin. No I want to switch to your plugin. Is there something to consider? Or must I just disable the old plugin, delete it in the database and then activate your plugin?
I do not want to destroy my website and lose an SEO ranking.
Best
Simon
Hello Simon,
We only recommend our AMP plugin and also, we cannot provide support for another AMP plugin. Yes, you should disable it and install our plugin but I do not know what kind of SEO optimization you have made on your website and also, I cannot say for sure if you will disable your plugin you will not lose any SEO rankings or something else, sorry!
This should not happen.
Thanks.
Hello Surfaceru,
You should edit the plugin from the theme core files like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pTbty73XU7L You should do it yourself through the code because it’s not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks.
Hello,
I changed the AMP plugin now to use your plugin, but it seems in the amp-mode the site is broke: https://www.awayfromlife.com/the-offenders-im-interview-zum-aktuellen-album/amp/
How can I fix it?
I deinstall the old plugin and install yours.
Thank you!
Update: I deactivate all plugins (except the AMP Plugin), clear the cache, but it still not working.
When I inspect the site it seems that it will be play out the false id’s and classes as it should.
The header is incorrect, the icons are missing, the more article section is faulty and the footer is also not correct. Also when you surf online you won’t be hand off to the amp version as it should.
Please can you help me to fix the problem. It already seems that I lost in Google Ranking.
Thank you.
And this message I received just from Google Search Console:

Hello AWAY FROM LIFE,
I have inspected your website and I did not get any error. Also, I have checked your source page and I saw that you are using an old theme version (Newsmag 2.0 version) with the child theme. If you want to achieve well results you should update the theme to the latest version of it, switch the theme to the main theme, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Catalin,
how can I update a child theme? I thought it’s enough when I use an updated parent theme – there I use the current version.
If I deactivate the child theme, the AMP-version of tagDiv is still faulty. It seem that It display the standard header among other errors (like the amp-version will not open autmatically when you surf mobile).
I would be very happy if you help cause I will be in a few days in vacation and don’t want to lost my SEO-Ranking and also visitors.
Thank you!
Simon
I also tested it on my test-server, which use the same child theme as on my main-website and there it work. For example: http://community.awayfromlife.com/fgggggg/amp/
Best regards,
Simon

Hi,
I once again tried to switch to the tag-div AMP plugin, which failed again. I would very much like use you AMP plugin, but unfortunately the AMP posts are again displayed incorrectly and you will not be redirected to mobile surfing automatically.
Could I send you my access data for the website and the FTP server again? It leaves me no peace and I would like to switch completely to you functions.
Best regards
Simon
