Changing the default font

Hello I am trying to change the default font so I don’t have to change each one individually, and so when the page loads it doesn’t load the other font first. How would I go about changing it, or is there a custom css to put into a child theme to change the font to: Baskersville “times new roman”, times, serif

Thank you!
Nate

Hi,

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option to set a site default font, you can set the font family for each element from Theme Fonts. For some sections you can set a general font – http://screencast.com/t/3ihJ5oPN

Thanks!

Yeah I went through yesterday and set it all to the same through the option panel. My only problem is that when the page loads, it loads the old font first and then the new font. Is there a way to change that so it doesn’t happen?

Thanks
Nate

Hi,

The css is applied in cascade so the font set in the panel will overwrite the default font. The only way to stop the default fonts to load first is to search and replace them in style sheet file – http://screencast.com/t/igScbqdmDfH

Thanks!
