My site seems to be hack and gets some spammy links. Can you please check if there are some theme code modifications or not?

I had a similar problem since last week. Took quite an effort to clean.

Here is the comment about the likely intrusion vector: “we believe the site was compromised by a vulnerability offered by an outdated WordPress theme (Newspaper), since it has a recent history of vulnerabilities being exploited, vector, but we believe the site was compromised by a vulnerability offered by an outdated WordPress theme (Newspaper), since it has a recent history of vulnerabilities being exploited,” My theme version isn’t outdated, but the Newspaper 8.7!

Hello defenseupdate,

Sorry but please notice that we do not have any bad reports with the theme’s vulnerabilities at the moment! The latest version has been fully tested before it’s released and should not exists any kind of vulnerabilities in the theme, sorry! Remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and you should provide some useful screenshots with the problem if it will persist.
