How can we create a child theme of newspaper theme for blogging purposes?

Hi,
Child themes would mainly be used if you want to make modifications to the theme files. That would be it’s main purpose. There is a child theme provided in the theme package if you have decided to use one

It is also mentioned there which theme files can be modified through the child theme.
