Hi, I have a page that has a table element created with TinyMCE Advanced. After I open this page with tagdiv composer without doing anything but just click save. Then, all my table element is gone. I don’t understand why just clicking save in tagdiv composer removes my table element.
Hi, the table is removed only from tagDiv Composer or is also removed from frontend?
In most cases this problem appear when the shortcode/plugin that is use is not full compatible with tagDiv Composer, in this situation, the code can be set only once with the theme builder in pages.
Thank you!
– It’s completely removed from both In Tagdiv Composer and in frontend.
– However, when I open it in WordPress editor now it shows like this:
[tdc_zone type=”tdc_content”][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][/tdc_zone]
– TinyMCE Advanced is a popular editor plugin for WordPress. Now there’re more than 2 million active installations. Here is the link to the plugin https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/. It’s hard to believe that your theme and this plugin are not compatible by default and just clicking save has to remove the table element.
Hi Topy,
The thing is that the WordPress gas the classic element that is similar with this TinyMCE and I think this is way our developers do not checked this plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/oPfhnm8.png
Thank you for your understanding!
I’ve tried another page. The content that is created with the default WordPress editor’s also removed. This is what I’ve done.
– I opened a page that has some text on it. This text is created in the default WordPress editor. I copied that text to back up in case I lost it. Next I open it with Tagdiv Composer and just click the save button. Again the text disappears, same like the above case. However, I go back to the WordPress editor and paste the copied text back. This time I click the default WordPress update button. Now it comes back.
– However, I’ve test again by creating a new page and follow the same thing like above. The text doesn’t disappear when I open and save it with Tagdiv composer.
The thing is that there’s the affect only with the old pages, not new pages. Is this a bug?
Hi,
This is strange, these problem should not happen. Can you make a staging or a sub-domain where our we can check this problem without affecting your live website, in this way, if is a bug we’ll be able to find and fix it (or at list provide a fix in the coming update).
Thank you!
