cloud template for category. show a featured article on top

Im creating a category template in cloud templates
I need to filter the post loop and show only one article from that category that it is also a featured article.
how can I do that? thank you

Hi,

You can limit the loop number of posts in it’s settings, but you can’t filter it by another parameter (in this case featured). The loop will show posts that belong to the currently viewed category, that is all when it comes to filtering.

If you require this for a category or a couple of them, maybe use a block instead of the loop. You can filter that as you want and apply it to that category. This would be impractical for more categories however. You would have to create many templates, one for each.
