Cloud Template Header doesn't show Fontawesome icons

I’ve created a Cloud Template Header with Fontawesome icons in it, for example shopping cart. But these don’t show up in the site. Also, when I look in Chrome devtools/Network/Font, I don’t see the Fontawesome font loading.

I can find a workaround for this when I put icons on a page, but obviously I can’t use this workaround on all my pages.
Could you please help me resolve this?

P.s. Please don’t refer to the old article about using the Fontawesome plugin, because the Fontawesome font is included in the Tagdiv composer, so this should work out of the box.

Thank you so much in advance.

I want to disable theses fonts;

1. newspaper-icons.woff?1
2. newspaper.woff?19
3. fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.7.0

They slow down my website by 1 second Screenshot

I thought they were used for icons, so I do not use any icon including social icons but still the same.

Please also have a look at my website if there is anything using these fonts, and suggest how to disable them.

Thank you very in advance

Hello !

You can control your fonts by using the website manager as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/5H5JESiMLr We suggest running 1-2 fonts on your website.

Thank you !

Hi Vlad,

I now changed my fonts to default, just like your screenshot. But three types of fontAwesome are still loaded [Screenshot]

I want to completely disable fontAwesome. Could you please give some code to do it?

Thanks in advance

Hello !

Unfortunately css will not solve this. you will have to check your headers or elements which use the font awesome and remove them.

Thank you !

Hi Vlad,

How can this be checked? Are you able to say which elements use Font Awesome? Is this font related to icons on the website?

Hello !

This has to be checked manually unfortunately. You will have to go using tagDiv Composer, or the browsers inspector tool and see where those fonts are loaded. In my opinion the inspector should help you work it out faster.

Thank you !
