Colour of site refusing to change from white to another (

Hi, I’ve changed the background colour of the Newspaper theme from white to blue but the middle part is still white. How do I change the colour to what I want for the whole site. I don’t want a white website.

You can change the background color from Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> General theme colors and enable the background boxed layout => https://www.screencast.com/t/yr5PAq6QCpa
