column and row transparency

Hi there,

I was wondering if it were possible to make a certain column transparent?

I’m using 2 different color overlays on the row and changing the column element to the same isn’t producing the same results due to the size difference I’m presuming.

Here’s the website in question (http://datapel.xyz/), if you scroll to the area bove the google maps you will see what I’m talking about.

Is there a CSS code I can enter that will assist me here?
