I run a website in which uses cometchat- an online chatting service. This service shows in a chat bar at the bottom of the screen, which allows users to interact with each other. The chat bar only appears to logged in users, so the website looks perfect when users are not logged in, but when users log in and the chat bar becomes available it distorts everything on the website. All of side panels merge together, topics and images are moved out of place, is there a way to lock this so when comet chat pops up it doesn’t force all of the information out of place?

I am not sure how you implemented the chat bar for logged in users but I suppose that you’re using a plugin for this. I can’t say exactly what causes this issue but most likely it’s a css issue.
Please address us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a closer look at this issue and maybe we can help you. However I can’t promise that we can provide a solution as I am not aware yet how the chat windows it’s added and how many customizations are required in order to have it displayed fine.
