Hi folks
I disabled the comment count setting NM 3.1 under “post panel” setting, but still seeing the comment bubble counter on indexes (e.g., using “M10” for “book reviews”).
Other than editing the templates is there toggle for that.
One might presume if that is off on the actual posts it would be off on the indexes.
So, settings are:
* comments on as we enable that per story
* comment count off on posts
* no option for on/off on templates (e.g., all on or all off for comment bubble/counter)
Don’t want to just ‘hide’ that as it still does query, so likely editing “M10” template best way?

Hey …. changing my photo got rid of my extra special neato super cool friends of TagDiv little crown icon ! (waaaah!) 🙂
You likely had that keyed to my email address vs “user id” so when I updated that to my gmail account with my South Park gravatar, lost my little special bug.

Regarding coments on module since V 3 we added an option in theme panel which allows you to enable/disable meta info: http://screencast.com/t/KmbFN7Kr5 If you want to remove the coments count for all modules then disable the indcated option. However if you want it only for module 11 then bet way is to edit td_module_11.php and delete this line: http://screencast.com/t/pb7vytiOFs

I thought there might be option; guess I should follow my own (ahem) advice and actually LOOK through all the new panels and see what’s new in v3 … 🙂
