COMMENT LOGIN

1) Because of operational requirements, we must use the default WordPress login (…/wp-login.php)

2) Within the theme panel, the setting for “Show sign in / join” has been turned off.

3) WordPress is configured to enable “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”.

4) In comments, when visitors click the “Log in to leave a comment” it is directing to the theme URL instead. It is appending …#login-form to the end of the URL.

5) Instead, users should be directed to the WP login page and them return to comment.

How can we achieve this?

Good Morning,

for your problem I don’t know how to solve it, but I would like to take a doubt about something you did and I have this problem. How did you remove the login popup box? On your website is going straight to the login page. I want to do this and I’m not finding the solution …

We didn’t remove the login/join popup box (included within the Theme). We simply turned it off within the Theme Panel/Header setting as mentioned within our #2. above. Once it is turned off, the generic WordPress Login Box appears when clicking Login/Join.

We need for the same generic WordPress Login Box to appear when someone clicks o “Login to leave a Comment” within the Comment box below each Post.

Please advise..

Hi dennisjpitocco,

Unfortunately this can be achieve only with custom changes in theme files -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/parts/tdb-comments.php -> https://i.imgur.com/fdYxnDR.png

Thank you!
