Hello,
when I have “moderate/approve comments manually” enabled and I submit a comment, this comment is listed in the backend to be approved. So this is fine. But the Newspaper theme does NOT show them in any way in the frontend. I submit the comments and I can NOT see any notice nor them somehow greyed out… This is very confusing. I know lot of themes where the comments are printed with: “Awaiting Moderation…” So I can see that I wrote them and that they got submitted.
Could you please verfify this (I looked through everything and I am quite shure this is a bug of the Newspaper theme) and then fix it in the next release. Comments are so important.

Unfortunately, this feature is not implemented in our theme, but we hopefully to do it in near future updates.

I was having the same problem and have just implemented your fix – working properly now, so thank you.
Can this be made permanent for future versions of Newsmag and Newspaper, or does it bring other problems? My site relies heavily on comments, and many visitors get confused if they don’t get a moderation message so start using the contact form or bbPress and I end up with the same questions over and over.

I have updated our list of fixes and I have announced our developers regarding this feature. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an accurate period wich the issue will be solved because our team developers are working hard to solved other fixes wich are much more urgent. I have made it urgent this request and in near future updates, hopefully, to tick as done. Until then, before to update, you have to to a backup to this file and load it to the new updated version.
