Comments are enabled in my WordPress panel, under Settings / Comments.
But they do not appear automatically in the publications, I have to activate them manually, post to post….
Is there a way to activate the comments, automatically, from the theme?

When the setting regarding comments is activated in WordPress->Discussion

The new posts should have the option already checked. If the setting is activated the post looks like this

The theme setting regarding post comments only controls if the comments section will be displayed in the post page.
