comments in pages won't appear in newspaper7

Hi
I do not know why newspaper7 theme prevents the appearance of comments in the pages (not in posts).
I came to this conclusion since I tried everything: reinstall wordpress in its latest version, disable all plugins, activate what it takes to display comments in pages and nothing works, except when I change the theme Newspaper7 by any other themes and surprise comments in pages are displayed …
So the problem necessarily comes from an option or something else related to newspaper7

to enable comments on the pages follow steps as shown:

I don’t see what it seem be a picture containing steps to follow.

Yesterday i attempted to update my theme and i lost everything.
Luckily I made a backup before. So once my backup installed I will let you know the results
