Hello Tagdiv,
I recently enable comments on my blog http://www.getcooltricks.com . I’m using disqus for the comments. It is displaying the comments properly in the Posts but not in the Single Pages. The comments are enabled in the theme panel and in the page as well. But the form is not appearing. I switched to default comments. Then also the comments are not appearing.
Kindly help.
Thanks & Regards
Pradeep Augustine
Hi
We did not tested disqus plugin with our theme and I am not very sure which is the proper way to implement it. Try to follw this tutorial: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-disqus-comment-system-in-wordpress/ or plugin’s documentation, it may help.
Thanks!
Hello, Thanks for the reply. I tested it with the default comment system. Then also it is not showing up.
Please provide some solution.
Hi,
I have checked this on my side and did not found any issues, the comments appear properly also on pages – http://screencast.com/t/KFH8FDsGKHy – http://screencast.com/t/5qg8snbLprS – http://screencast.com/t/0qTnl3lKsN1p
Check if all these settings are fine and test this without any plugins active except Visual Composer, clear all the caches and see if the comments appear.
If the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a closer look.
Thanks!
Hello Alln. The comments shows up only when the default template is selected from the right panel. With the pagebuilder + Page Title Template the comments are not visible.
Hello Pradeep Augustine,
Unfortunately, the default comments have been implemented only for default page template as you can see in the source code here -> http://screencast.com/t/x5oEmvwIP If you want to have this option to the other two page templates you will have to implement yourself this. If you are not aware of these steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks.
