Comments on pages

How can I enabled comments to appear on pages? I have enabled “Allow comments” and “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page” under the page settings.

I’ve answered my own question after double checking my settings. For those that dont know you can enable/disable comments on pages from the template settings.

ThemePanel -> Post Settings -> DISABLE COMMENTS ON PAGES

Also note that you must have comments enabled on your pages. You’ll see this under the “Discussion” in page edit mode. If you dont see it then select “screen options” from the top and add it.

I have the same problem but I have no

ThemePanel -> Post Settings -> DISABLE COMMENTS ON PAGES

function, only a

ThemePanel -> Post Settings -> DISABLE COMMENTS ON POSTS

OK, I have found it. The setting is not in Post Settings in my version of Newspaper (6.1)

You need to go to

ThemePanel -> Template Settings -> Page Template -> DISABLE COMMENTS ON PAGES

Hope this saves someone else some time.
