Comments on pages

Hi

I’m sure it must be super basic, but I can’t seem to allow commenting on PAGES. I’ve checked the box “allow commenting” but it’s not showing up.

Am I missing something?

Hi,

Please check if “DISABLE COMMENTS SITEWIDE” is enabled in Theme Panel, on default(to show comment) should be disabled: http://screencast.com/t/bJI6M3zaFd5l ad also make sure you uncheck the “DISABLE COMMENTS ON PAGES” option: http://screencast.com/t/myyYq5MQjPHi

I am also having this problem. I can see comments on all my posts, but not on my pages through the front end. I can see them in the back end though.

OK, I have found it. The setting is not in Post Settings in my version of Newspaper (6.1)

You need to go to

ThemePanel -> Template Settings -> Page Template -> DISABLE COMMENTS ON PAGES

Hope this saves someone else some time.
