I enabled Comments on Posts in Post Settings but Comments do not display under Posts?
I see one comment did post but at bottom of my Home Page.
1. I don’t want then in the Home Page.
2. Only in the Posts.

What do I do?

Hello,

If you want to enable the comments on posts you have to enable them from 3 locations:
1- https://www.screencast.com/t/nZuFDCDYfzmd
2- https://www.screencast.com/t/unxMm12Dp
3- On each post in particular, make sure this is enabled: https://www.screencast.com/t/Fvsmwj2N
If you do not see the discussion option, check the top screen options to enable it: https://www.screencast.com/t/b8EhHqDC

If you want to disable comments for pages, simply activate this option:

1. Do we have to do step 3 for each post or once these “settings” are set will they apply?

Usually comments stay on by default in this field but you will have to check this for each post just to be sure.

Hello, does this also work for pages?

I use the manual in the forum to activate comments for pages – there are 3 different locations in the backend to activate it. But on the page site there is no headline with the name: Discussion. So I can´t activate the comments for pages. Do I have to change some general settings?

@Flyer381 To have the comments section on pages the setting has to be like this

Enabling it will disable the comments on pages. Also the page template cannot be the one containing the Latest articles section, you need to select a different template, like the default one – https://www.screencast.com/t/Zn51ngcwdIK
Check as well in the page settings if the allow comments is enabled
