OK, I’ve done this with another theme but can’t figure it out here. I have comments disabled. Cool, all good. However, the “Comments” title and “comments count” will NOT go away. I’ve looked around the files to see the code that writes it to the page without any luck. You would think with everyone using FB or other commenting addons that getting rid of comments would be a much simpler task.
Anyway, any help would be very much appreciated. Once again, the comments themselves are gone. There is nothing there except the comments section title and comments count. Very annoying. Why would those not go away with the rest of the comments section?
Please, for the love of all that is holy. I have been looking for about 6 hours now. Just tell me where the code is that writes “Comments” and “0 Comments” to the bottom of the page after the content and I will delete it. I’m so irritated right now that I will rewrite it and delete it again just to do it. Again, the comments section is ALL gone except for the title. ie. the word “Comment” is written under my post content. Under that is written “0 Comments”. That is all that is there and it should not be there. All I want to know is where the code is that says echo(“Comments”) or whatever the code is.

Please see the following screenshots. I have already disabled them in that way. It STILL shows the comment heading and the comment count. As you can see form the final screenshot. If there is nothing else to do then just tell me which file writes these to the page and I will delete the code. Problem solved. But for the life of me I cannot find where that code is.
