We have news that have image and news that have no image, so I can not hide all the images from a block.

Unfortunately this is not a viable solution as the src is not empty. It is populated with the placeholder image. The most elegant solution to this is to replace the placeholder images with your own custom image to show when the post has no featured image (you need to keep the file name and image dimensions the same though: https://www.screencast.com/t/X1qvdHpZf4rO). Or as an alternative use a plugin that will grab the first post image and set it as featured.
