You can adjust ehe top padding of the homepage and remove the menu border by using this css code:
.home .td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top:0!important
}
.td-header-gradient:before{
display:none!important
}
The header style you use has a header ad under the menu so the image you showed as an example can only be replicated if you remove the header ad.
