I have a really strange problem and it seems that it could depend on the theme. The cookiebot plugin is unable to save the consent cookie. I asked their support but they say that the problem is not theirs. I asked my hosting support and they say that the problem could derive from the theme. What do you think? Have you had reports of similar cases?

Problem solved. It was the Cookiebot plugin. I finally installed “Matomo” to track visits and so I no longer use cookies and am okay with the gdpr law. Adsense has a separate cookie.
I would say perfect like this, and in addition I have many more accessible statistics.
