Hello,
The featured image on the single post template 12 will not resize correctly for mobile. I have changed every single option in the composer tab, custom CSS, and the image will not move or do anything.
What do I need to change to get the image to respond to mobile size?
Thanks
Hi,
I just made some tests and the option is working correctly – https://i.imgur.com/DZRycgF.png – https://i.imgur.com/bIcZHRV.png – https://i.imgur.com/cTDNQmr.png
Just make sure that you ave the thumbs selected enabled in the theme panel – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbs-on-modules-and-blocks/
Please conduct a test using only TagDiv plugins and see if the situation persists. Also, please provide some screenshots with the settings of the thumbs you have in the theme panel https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbs-on-modules-and-blocks/
Thank you!
These are the settings – I haven’t changed them since installing the theme – https://imgur.com/a/TM59CUr
I haven’t adjusted any of the featured image settings
Hi,
I see, so the settings are ok, and the thumbs should be created when the images are uploaded in the wordpress media.
Do you have some extra plugins that optimize the images?
Can you please regenerate the thumbs https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/? This should regenerate the thumbs in case those are not created.
Thank you!
Hi,
Can you please temporarily disable the image optimizer plugin and verify if the image is provided the correct version on the frontend?
Also, if you can provide a link to the website where I can investigate the problem, it will help me to understand whether the thumbs have the correct size, if they have been optimized …
Thank you!
Hi this is a link to the website – https://chad-wyatt.com/
I still cannot seem to get the images on the homepage module to fit the container correctly.
Hi,
That depends on how the modules look. Usually there’s no problem if the module doesn’t have the exact same size or aspect ratio of the featured image, but if the image contains text then its more visible. You must adjust the modules to better fit the images, depending on their aspect ratio. Try the presets https://prnt.sc/EtHKNydUJtiZ or adjust them manually https://prnt.sc/iIZJg1q-c-xQ
If most of the images are like this https://chad-wyatt.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/SEO-statistics-696×464.png then you will need modules that have the aspect ratio of that image in order to display the full image, not cut off. The container must be adjusted to fit the image. The theme just sets the image as a background inside the module, the results depend on how the module looks.
Thanks.
