Container width and adverts

I’m struggling to work out how to change the main container width using the Theme options. I went into template settings in the theme panel and changed the page template but that didn’t do anything. So I did it with custom css in the end. But the problem I’m having is that the placeholder advert is behaving erratically; resizing, not sitting in the right place when ‘fixed’ etc. Is there something I’m missing.
Here’s a page I’ve been working on on my dev site:

Also is there any way to change the placeholder advert graphics?
Many thanks in advance,
Dave

Hello Dave,

You have a cloud template, so you need to make all the changes using the tagdiv Composer on the front end https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
SDo, please delete the logo from theme panel and upload it using tagdiv Composer https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Usually, the ads in prebuilt websites are set in the element AD BOX, and you can remove it, edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport for phone and select the Ad box element and with right-click you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/2GfCVx9BCAw7 or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page
The ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png save it and will appear on the post (you can set a shortcode like a shortcode from adrotate plugin or other plugins).
You can try to stretch the row. You can find more details here -> https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/
-> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-add-delete-and-duplicate-row-newspaper-theme/

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,

I’m still a bit confused as to how I change main row width globally across my site. I seem to be stuck on 1068px and the only way I seem to be able to change this is by adding code like this:

@media
only screen and (min-width: 1400px) {
.td-container, .tdc-row, .tdc-row-composer {
width: 1180px;
}
}

What’s the advantages and disadvantages of using Cloud Templates by the way?

Thanks again,
Dave

Hi Dave,

To change the width, you can set it here, but you need to set the width on each column-> https://i.imgur.com/MVh7p5G.png or you can use the css code, but please make sure that you have set also, the positions and margin.
The advantages are that you can create your design as you wish, plus most options can be added from the composer. You can create a unique design for each email or for categories.
Some key features of the TagDiv Cloud Library templates include:

Customization: Users can customize the templates according to their preferences and branding requirements. This includes changing colors, fonts, layout structures, and more.
Responsive Design: The templates are designed to be responsive, ensuring that they look great and function well on devices of all sizes, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
Easy Integration: Templates can be easily integrated into WordPress websites using the TagDiv Composer, a drag-and-drop page builder tool offered by TagDiv.
Diverse Selection: The library offers a diverse selection of templates catering to various industries such as blogs, magazines, e-commerce, portfolios, and more.
Regular Updates: Templates are regularly updated to ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress versions and to incorporate new features and improvements.

Thank you!
