I have a question regarding how to manage and publish content in the website leveraging newspaper theme. Please let me know if I can import xls/csv file to automatically create categories / products in that category and in the website pages. OR content need to be created manually always.
Any guidance here will be really appreciated.

The theme does not have any special options to import categories or products, like you mention. You can try that with a plugin that has these options or by the system you want and check if it works properly.
Check the theme system status before trying, and make modifications to these parameters if required (you could ask your hosting to make them for you if needed)
