As you can see the summary text is very long and not limited to 40 characters.

This issue with the theme excerpts happens when you filter the excerpts by words and the language used does not use spacing between it’s characters to delimit words. The system will think the whole post content is 1 big word and it will show all of the content as it expects 12 words, or the limit you added to the excerpt. For this case in particular we added the filter by letters option: http://screencast.com/t/npDyO1OxXP

You can enter the values you want for the title/content length for each module.
