Hi,
Content not displaying properly after theme update – Visual Composer / Tagdiv. Previously, we only need to deactivate the Tagdiv plugin. This time, it is not working. Kindly advise.

Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that your About Us page contains a lot of empty spaces. I have hidden them and the result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/UMAZZIi4
.td_block_empty_space{
display:none;
}
I do not know how exactly your page should be. In that case, you will have to edit the page with the page builder and create it how you want. If is not what you mean, please provide more details about your problem and what exactly you want to achieve so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you!
Hi,
As mentioned, the previous fix suggested by Tagdiv was to disable the Tagdiv composer plugin for every update. It works all the time, but this time it didn’t work. I am not able to restore the about us page and all affected pages, unless i revert to the older theme.
Once we disable the Tagdiv composer plugin – this is how the page looks like but with conflicts.

It affects all pages. Not just about us. At least you can see the pictures and text are created. You will also see the right side bar, which should not be in place. It is a plugin conflict problem.
Once the Tagdiv composer plugin is disabled, this is how the front-page looks like:

Kindly help. As we have client meeting the next day.
Hi,
Just realised that our mobile display is completely affected after the update. The front-page layout is completely gone. No wonder everyone had been asking us to develop / upgrade to a new mobile site today.

Hi,
I feel sorry that you are facing this issue, sorry! Please note most of the theme files were moved into the tagDiv composer plugin as per the requirements of Envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ Using the latest version of the theme, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newsmag theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements.
In that case, I will recommend downgrading the theme to Newsmag 4.7, the version before these modifications were made, which allows you to disable our page builder and keep to active only the WPBAckery if all of your pages was created with this page builder. After this, you can make a subdomain for testing where you need try to create all of these blocks using our composer and recreate all of your affected pages.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
We have restored to the previous version. Noted from the article that your team are working on a fix. As we had built most of our pages on Visual Composer, it will be extremely hard to migrate to the new composer.
Thanks!
