is it possible to control how much of content of the post I’d like to display on the homepage after posting it there? I thought it’s explained in the Excerpt section, but couldn’t find/understand it.

The post excerpt will cut the content at the desired length you set for each module in particular. You can set the amount of words you like the excerpts to show. https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/

May I ask, what is a module and that thing after it (td_block_10 etc.)? Cause tbh I was confused. I’ve seen it before but I would prefer to select for each post the length of the excerpt manually and not to set a certain word-count. Is this possible?

Hello Souh,
A module is a structural unit of a block. A block may contain one or more modules. Please notice that the Excerpts feature is only available for a general theme and it is not possible to set the excerpts for each post, sorry! So, if you want to add other Excerpts for your post, you can add it from post editor, custom field section->Excerpts like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jpjLzJY2CE
