Hello,
I will add this as a suggestion for future updates but this request has to become more popular if we are to implement it. We have lots of requests and need to prioritize.
For the moment, you can change the subtitle html to a h2 by altering the post template files: https://www.screencast.com/t/VUuTQvuq
Thank you!
+1 for this 🙂
Maybe optional for people that like to have more controll but can’t see why you wouldn’t want it to be H2. Quick question, will I need to change something in the css so that the same style rules apply although it’s not a p class anymore but a h2?
Hi,
The css does not seem to be affected by this change. Simply change the p tags to h2 in each post template file like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/2vHGdr5jb
No css is needed apparently.
Thank you!
Please understand that we have lots and lots of requests and we have to prioritize. We have to pick the most demanded requests to implement in our theme. These 2 are the only requests we have in this regards so far so the priority is very low at the moment for this request. The theme is used by tens of thousands of users and we have to address the majority. The requests get passed on to the development team and they decide if a feature makes it into the final theme or not. I have added this request on our list when you requested it but we never confirmed it was going to make it in the theme.
Thank you for your understanding.
Dear Bogdan,
I understand your concerns about priorities and that’s why I would like to know if you can tell us where we can see the list of all the requests. Maybe this can really make this theme the first to be client-oriented. We would like to contribute on this list somehow 🙂
Plus, please keep in mind “fast requests” like mine, which can be implemented really quickly, should be done without waiting other requests. Anyone with some basic SEO knowledge knows how important is what I asked.
Hello,
Unfortunately the list is not public because of all the spam people make. It is hard to keep a list of requests objective as if the list would be public, people would “vote” for each and every request as spam and would be hard to keep track of what is really demanded and what not. We also are very careful what we implement in our theme as it already became pretty ‘heavy’ due to the many options added and we do have ‘complaints’ about this. I agree it is a very simple modification to make but it is not my decision. I can only pass the information on to my colleagues from the development department and they have to decide on it.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hello,
With cloud templates, you can set the title seo for subtitles -> https://i.imgur.com/j3L22qH.png
Thank you!
Cool, I’m glad you’ve implemented this function to make the subtitle H2.
When I change this option, will all my already published articles automatically be in this new form?
I already have more than 200 articles published, Is there any way I can draw google’s attention to this changee?
