To display the number of followers, you need to use Instagram as a “Business” or “Creator” page, in this way those Instagram pages will be administered by a Facebook account (this is how Facebook API is working).
Also, when you log in with your Facebook account you must approve access to the pages you manage in order to be able to get your followers number

The instagram account is already Business. However, the 32 followers do not appear 🙁 I reviewed the instructions and it is the same as we did to create the Business Instagram account.
