We’d like to be able to use the 7-days-popular sorting without displaying views on single posts. The problem is the theme will only count post views if the “Show Post Views” setting is turned on.
Could these be turned into separate settings in the future? Is there a way to enable counting views without displaying them on the single post view (aside from hiding with CSS)?

Hello,
You can use the 7 days post sorting and not have the post views visible by simply importing a custom single template using the cloud library and removing the post view from the post template.
