Creating a unique sidebar for each post

I want to have a unique image on the sidebar of each post. It seems I have three options:

1) Make a unique sidebar for each post
2) Make a unique single template for each post
3) Try to find a plug-in that can insert unique images into a sidebar widget somehow

I’ve gone for option 1 – I’m making a unique sidebar for each post. It’s working fine for now, but will I run into problems with the theme further down the line, when there are potentially hundreds (or even thousands) of sidebars?

Hi,

Yes, you are right with the way for how to get the unique sidebars, but if you want to have many sidebars I think that will be quite hard to edit them no matter which option you choose.

Thanks. Yes I can foresee some editing problems too. I’ll see how it goes for now.
