maybe (hopefully) my problem is simpler that I think but I really need some help here: Could you show me how to create an archive (a collection of all previous posts, sorted by day, month, year…)?
As far as I understand I should create a new Page called “Archive”, then in the side bar under “Attributes” choose Template –> Archive (which should be archive.php). The problem is that only templates like “Pagebuilder + Empty Page, Pagebuilder + Overlay…” show up here, but no Archive Template.
So I added a comment-line to archive.php to make it show in the dropdown – which it does now. But when I select it, all I get is an empty page (except for the headline “Archive”).
Could you help me and show me how I can display content on the archive page now?

The page you created is not an archive page. This is an archive page: http://s11.telematica.at/~tm003996/2018/
These pages are already created. You do not have to create them. You cannot create them separately.
Another example:

Okay, it’s becoming clearer now. Thank you. What I still don’t know is how to display an Overview Page – or some sort of Hub – where the user can choose a date or timespan to go to. Any tipps on that?
