Currency exchange element no longer working

Greetings everyone,

I had the currency exchange block displaying on my sidebar, and as of recently I have noticed that it is no longer displaying at all. Instead, it simply displays the message “Render failed – no data is received: usd”.

Has anyone else came across this error, and how would you recommend correcting it. Thank you.

Hello caseystubbs,

In order to achieve the best theme results, you should replace the code of your old exchange widget with the next one and replace it. The right code is here -> https://pastebin.com/dM4csXCe Check the td_exchange.php and replace the code with this. Clear all the caches and check the results. Also, you should set up your exchange widget according to the following documentation from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WBRB2uDuo2N

Hi Catalin,

Thank you for your help. Where would I locate the td_exchange.php file? I ran a command + F search in Filezilla, however I was unable to locate the file.

Hi Catalin,

I’ve done the change you mentioned, cleaned all my caches and I still can’t see the currency exchange plugin working on my website as you can see here http://take.ms/XrJ8v

It shows only the title but no currency details. That has been happening for a couple of months.

Please notice that the Exchange Widget works as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/BSxL4ChjD9 Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way and also, ensure that you have created an account and the API key has been added at the right place.
