How can I customize ad behaviour?
Specifically I would like to show / hide ads based on:
1. Which post the user is visiting. In some cases (like cornerstone content), I don’t want ads in the posts.
2. I would like to like to determine the best monetization strategy for each user. For example, a user who reached from adwords, or filled out a form in the site is “high conversion intent” (I don’t want to show them ads), whereas a user from a country I don’t cater to, is “low conversion intent” and I would like to show them more ads than usual. Can I control the adsense ads frequency in javascript or wordpress?

1. The theme does not have such options. Once entered in the theme panel, the ads will display at all times. Settings for the frequency or more advanced ad options are not available.
You could try the Adrotate plugin, this might have such options to control how an when the ads display. This plugin is highly recommended here on the forums by users that want more advanced control over the ads. This is some documentation on the plugin
