Hi,
How can I add custom ad codes that is not from Adsense on Newspaper site especially on the header, sidebar, embed, single post header and footer? I can only see “add Adsense code here” everywhere on the ads module i your Theme option panel!

Notice that our theme has been designed to use only the Google Adsense system. So, if you want to integrate any other Ad system, notice that you should integrate it yourself because we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry! Thank you for your kind words! Do I have to change from Newspaper to a more flexible and intuitive mag theme that can take in html or javascript code for my manual ads in strategic location since all I got from you are not friendly enough.
Google didn’t accept our adsense for this site claiming that we have duplicate content which we’ve tried to clarify that the journalist now writes on his blog site now and those from other newspaper are his previous but they refused to answer our pleading.
So, the option is to have our own manual ads on your theme but we are hit a brick wall once again.

If you are unhappy with our Google Adsense system you will have to search another Ads system for implementing it in our theme or such a plugin with this functionality and check then the results. As a recommendation, you can use the AdRotate plugin because many of our users used it and it seems to work as expected with our product.

I’ve used 4 different ad servers with Newspaper theme and all of them have worked. Most every ad server requires 2 bits of code:
- The call script to the ad server. Usually this will go in the header.php file of the theme/child theme or you can ad it in custom code > advanced from the theme panel.
- The ad display code, which you can place in the newspaper theme panel > ads section or in widgets, etc…. where ever you wan the actual ad to display.
Ads won’t display without both of those elements on the page.

Unfortunately, we do not know what type of Ads are used in Nifty Theme and also, we cannot provide an accurate response in this regard, sorry! Our theme uses only the Google AdSense system which should work as expected.

Problem not solved I can’t recommend NewsPaper theme for writers or mag owners who want to have their custom ads without using Google Adsense.

I am sorry that you are unhappy with our theme but please keep in mind that our theme has been designed to use only Google Adsense system or if you do not want to use this, you will have to use other ads, according to our documentation which was posted in the previous replies, sorry! If none of these variants are appropriate, you should try using a plugin which satisfies your desire, like AdRotate or another one that goes beyond the functionality of our ad system.
