Custom Ads not getting saved?

Since the latest update 1.7 everytime I put my ad code on any of the custom ads section, after saving the added code is removed. Anyone else experiencing this?

I am not having this issue; I’m using latest Chrome on Win7/64, which for me seems to work best with the theme management in general. I just updated all my ad blocks with updated color schema from AdSense so the text ads would look better. No problem at all in v1.6 or v1.7 (so far).

Try clearing all your caches, on website *and* in your web browser. Stupid, I know, but that always seems to be the culprit (well, not always, but often…).

Hi,

Thanks Chris!

@mrsky28
Did you solve the issue?

Thanks!

Hi,

I checked again today, it’s still not working. The code is getting removed still.
It’s an adsense code for link units, not the responsive one. Maybe that could help.

I am recommending folks go back to Newsmag 1.6
as v1.7 seriously caused all sorts of problems for us on one site. Rolled back to 1.6 and working again.

Consider this as best option “right now” for your site to work properly, if it was working properly prior to 1.7 update.

Seriously.

Hi,

@Gardeky

As Alin also stated we’re still trying to figure the cause of this. We will provide a solution as soon as we find the cause. Until the you can use the WordPress text widget to work around this.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks
