Custom background question

Hey guys,

I’m currently using a white background for the site (as it comes by default), meaning that the header and the menu are full width. However, when I add a custom background, the header and the menu get the same width as the body of the site, meaning the overflow is hidden.

How can I keep my current header/meny layout while adding a custom bg?

Note: I’ve tried adding z-index to both divs with no success.

when you are using a background the theme automatically goes in boxed mode.
there is nothing that you can do.
