I want to thank the developers here for offering such great, quick support. As we all know, you truly back up your theme with excellent work and help. I’ve convinced friends to use this theme because of the awesome support. So, thanks again!

Now the reason for my posting today:

Could someone please give me a guide to create the following block, like the mockup I’ve linked to below? Basically, I want a photo teaser to an article to span two full columns while 4 smaller teasers sit below it.

Here’s an example: Mockup link

I appreciate the help.

Sorry, here is the correct mockup below: Please ignore the one linked before! Thanks!

Looks to me like a row split into two columns in VC and each column filled with a Block 2 set to show 5 posts. It might also be separate blocks for top and bottom.

Thanks. Yes, I’ve split the row into two columns with the Visual Composer. The problem is, when I use “Block 2” in the two-column space, the top teaser does not span both columns, only one.

Basically, I’m getting this

When I need this.

Would love some help with this soon. I’m hoping to launch this page soon. Thanks very much.

Hmm… not sure. Might just have to have one block for the teaser, and a separate block for the smaller titles, in each column. But I just tried it out and couldn’t find an arrangement of blocks that gave me that. :/ Hopefully tagDiv support has an idea.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.
You cloud try something similar using VC, at this moment the theme doesn’t support this layout and you will need custom work to achieve this, unfortunately we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.

Sorry about this!
Thanks for the message!
